The Commanders Admin panel is designed to provide quick access and storage of small maps, writing instruments, checklists, target pictures, equipment or other key data needed in hard copy.
Elastic webbing loops can hold pens, pencils, knives or a cyalume to illuminate the map area. Between the MOLLE on the rear of the panel is an elastic sleeve which will take a Silva 54/6400 compass or similar sized items.
Both the map window and notebook holder are removable and can be position vertically or horizontally. The clear plastic map sleeve can be marked on with map marking pens, chinagraph pencils etc. etc.
The degree the panel opens can be adjusted by the paracord and barrel lock adjustment system.
The panel is secured by a gauge 10 YKK zip and web tape with a hook that fastens to the loop exterior field which can also double as an attachment for patches.
