Kinetic Fighting Instructors’ Course
Kinetic Fighting Instructors’ Course
Complete your Kinetic Army Combatives/KEF–IC Instructor training with Paul Cale — including Kinetic's complete day-to-day training syllabus & ACP Clearing Knife Level 1!
This Kinetic Fighting Instructors’ Course enables new and current instructors to develop, refresh and enhance their capabilities as teachers and practitioners of KEF–IC and/or the Army Combatives Program (ACP). This year's course will give all participants a thorough grounding in Kinetic's complete public syllabus, designed for regular delivery as part of a gym/dojo program, as well as the ACP Clearing Knife Level 1 module.
Over the two days, additional time will be dedicated to qualification training for new instructors in the KEF–IC Alpha–Echo modules, while seasoned instructors will also be introduced to ACP Clearing Knife Level 2.*
Course Details:
Dates: 9:00 am, 26 Oct. - 3:00 pm 27 Oct.
Location: Primal Gym, Brisbane
Current and budding instructors will experience a complete induction into the newly minted Kinetic Army Combatives/KEF–IC 'day-to-day' training syllabus, developing a deep understanding of the method used to build and test combatives competency from scratch. You’ll refine your skills and learn to teach the material hands-on, while being mentored by KEF’s highly experienced instructors.
New instructors will also be assessed on their delivery of modules Alpha to Echo (depending on experience in each) and be qualified to teach the next module in the syllabus above their current teaching qualification. As part of the learning and qualification process, your lesson delivery will be evaluated by both Combatives Master Trainers (CMTs) and fellow trainees, including currently licensed KEF–IC Instructors.
Heading up the coaching alongside Paul Cale (KEF–IC/ACP creator, Australian Defence Force Martial Arts Association Head Coach and former Commando Sergeant) will be the spearheads of the syllabus roll-out, Senior KEF–IC Instructors Chris Fechner and Trent Buffett.
+ Instructor’s Starter Pack
The cost of the course also covers a 12-month teaching license (to instruct the specific A–E levels passed), two KEF–IC Instructor T-shirts and 10 free course books for your future students.**
Eligibility & Preparation
If you hold a KEF–IC Grey Belt or Green Belt rank, or are ready to grade to Grey Belt by 25 October, you will be eligible to do this course. You will be educated in the finer points of teaching some or all of the KEF–IC modules A–E (in order, depending on your readiness for each), and certified to teach these modules after passing.***
This rare opportunity for critical skill-enhancement and coaching development in ACP/KEF–IC is limited to 20 people, so don’t miss out!
Secure your place now with a full booking, or pay a 50% deposit and the balance by 18 October.
* Instructors completing instructor assessments on A–E modules will cover this on Sunday instead of doing the ACP Knife L2 introduction.
** Booklets (normally $55 each) and T-shirts are free for first-time instructors only.
*** Teaching can only begin after submission of a completed KEF–IC instructor license agreement and a current public-liability insurance certificate.
